Malisa Szalkiewicz

M.Ed., E-RYT 500, C-IAYT-Yoga Therapist

As a tenured Yoga teacher and owner of Northern Arizona Yoga Center, Malisa Szalkiewicz is passionate about evolving as an instructor and supporting individuals as they deepen their understanding of the benefits of Yoga. Having earned a Master's of Education, Malisa truly has the heart of a teacher and uses the innate power and tools of Yoga to help students and patients find a sense of inner peace and enjoy being in their bodies. Although she has taught In 2018, Malisa joined Dr. Whitney James at the Neuromodulatory clinic in Prescott, Arizona and began developing the Inner Atlas comprehensive healthcare curriculum. Through offering group and individual sessions, she has helped hundreds of patients learn Yoga techniques to manage and transform their relationship with pain. Malisa enjoys living in Flagstaff, Arizona, spending time with her family, playing in the woods, and being surrounded by people she loves.

Jeff Masters

LMT, ERYT, MPCT, Msc. (Hon.)

Jeff Masters,a visionary therapist and teacher, has been researching consciousness and the human energy field for over 30 years.  In that time he has studied with some of the most luminous minds in the fields of mind/body science including; Marcel Vogel (IBM & Psychic Research Inc.), Paul St. John (St. John’s Neuromuscular Therapy), Rama Jyoti Vernon (International Yoga College) and Dr. Vasant Lad (The Ayurvedic Institute).

Jeff is a certified and registered Yoga instructor and Yoga Therapist with over 1,200 hours of education and clinical experience.  He is a graduate of the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, has been certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and has been awarded an honorary masters degree in Anatomy and Physiology from the Open International University for Complimentary Medicine.

His focus over the last four years has been the exploration of yoga’s foundational texts and the integration of ancient principles with modern science and medicine.

Rose Lochmann

RYT 200, R.N.

Rose Lochmann has been practicing Yoga for 25 years. She is a graduate of the Deep Yoga School of Healing Arts and is certified as an instructor by the Yoga Alliance. Her knowledge and experience have been in Hatha and Kundalini Yoga as well as the ancient principles of The Yoga Sutras by Patanjali. Merging decades of experience as a psychiatric nurse, hospice nurse, and entrepreneur with the ancient principles learned in her years of yoga practice and teacher training, she offers compassionate and practical guidance in her Yoga classes. Rose is also passionate about giving back to the universe and has created The Yoga Difference, a service organization devoted to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals, communities and the world. Proceeds from The Yoga Difference support organizations that are committed to helping oppressed and impoverished women. These philanthropic efforts are directed to organizations that promote education, increase access to health care, and offer micro loans to women in third world countries.

Maggie Hopson

E-RYT 500, M.BM, D.PT

Maggie Hopson has more than 30 years of experience as a physical therapist. She brings to her students an understanding of the structure and function of each unique joint in the body and a sensibility that embodies the spiritual and meditative aspects of a yoga practice. She completed her 200-hour training with Integrated Yoga Therapy in 2001 and has been involved in integrating yoga practices with Western medicine since that time. Maggie owns an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice, has completed her master’s degree in bio-mechanics, has a doctorate in physical therapy and is an orthopedic clinical specialist.

Keelyn Riley

Keelyn Riley is a licensed psychotherapist in Flagstaff who has used holistic approaches and yogic practices in therapy since 1994.  She has been rooted in the Flagstaff therapy world and yoga community for nearly 20 years.  She has a diverse background in yoga training from athletic to therapeutic with additional experiences in Acro Yoga and fitness training.  She offers a diverse and holistic presence to her teaching.

Bruce Bowditch

Bruce Bowditch has authored four books about yoga and teaches workshops both nationally and abroad.  His teaching is alignment based, bringing students to a deep understanding of the body so they may flow safely and naturally in their practice.  Yoga therapeutics is also an important component of his offering.

Kori Moore-Gibson

Educator and Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), EYT 500+

An avid learner and lifetime student of Yoga, Kori Moore-Gibson graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Secondary Education degree, and her passion for equitable education and deepening self-awareness has helped to prepare her for her continuing life’s path as a Yoga Therapist and Yoga Teacher. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at GCU. In addition to running a private yoga therapy practice out of her home studio in Flagstaff, Kori co-facilitates the Inner Atlas chronic pain group management program and works one-on-one and with patients at James Marco Neuromodulatory Clinic. It is her greatest joy to support individuals by educating them on how to take a balanced approach to health and wellness through the accessible integration of the sacred tools of Yoga. She is very grateful for the inspiration and teachings of all her teachers throughout the years, and for the practices of Yoga (which comes from India). Kori loves eating nourishing food, hiking, biking, traveling, and enjoying life with her daughter, baby coming soon, husband, chickens and two dogs.
